Jim & Malvina Slovak owners of Czech Products Internet
Company, the parent company of ABCATS Travel Agency, imports
European products for resale. This dream of travel began operations
in a spare bedroom but quickly gained prominence and evolved
into a recognized international travel agency.
After college I enlisted in the Air Force as an Airman Basic
and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. I held positions as a
musician, personnel and transportation where I served as Deputy
Director of Aerial Port Operations, HQ, Air Mobility Command
(AMC), Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. During DESERT STORM
Persian Gulf War personnel of my directorate moved more troops,
cargo and munitions in the first nine months then was moved
during the entire WWII. My heart and support goes out to our
military who are conducting a difficult unconventional war
fighting terrorist in an urban warfare manner.
Being full-blooded Czechs, Malvina and I were born in Hill
County near West, Texas to farmers. Malvinas' parents moved
to Corpus Christi in 1940 where her teen years involved working
in the family owned grocery store. Malvina took a job working
in a doctor's office retiring as Office Manager and Chief
Accountant. We meet & married in Corpus Christi, Texas
in 2003 and our combined family consists of eight children
with seven grandchildren. We love our heritage, love to polka
dance and travel to Europe where our families emigrated from.
Our goal is to continue providing travels that are interesting
and provide the best service to travelers at a reasonable
cost.
